Captain Ogle contracted cholera from some men of his troop and died at Shikarpore at 3 a.m. on the 29th of November 1839.
The rest of the 4th Light Dragoons continued their journey and reached Bombay via Kurrachee (Kurachi)
on the 10th of March 1840, and Kirkee shortly afterwards.
