CONDITION - No. 5 in the Mariners Library. Good condition, Wellington Harbour Board plate and previous owner's inscription. Age discoloured with minor foxing throughout especially on page block edges. Dustwrapper has chips and small tears top and bottom especially at the spine. Minor chipping top and bottom of spine. Chipped on top corners upto 10-15mm.

DESCRIPTION - Teddy was a Colin Archer type double-ended Norwegian sailing pilot and rescue boat. Tambs and his wife sailed Teddy from Oslo down the European Coast to Madeira, the Canaries, Aruba & Curacao, and through the Panama Canal to the Cocos Islands, the Marquesas, the Society Islands, Samoa and New Zealand between August 1928 and January 1931. In February 1932 Teddy drifted onto some rocks and was lost.
