CONDITION - Hardback first English edition, 2 volume set, both with dustwrappers.
Volume 1 1939 - 1942 & Volume 2 1943 - 1945 published 1972 & 1974 respectively.
Volume 1 - The book has only the slightest of rubbing and bumping on the top and bottom edges and spine, but the pages are clean and bright, and the binding is good.
Volume 2 - This book is also in very good condition with only the slightest of rubbing and bumping on the top and bottom edges and spine, clean and bright pages with good binding.
Both copies have a discrete previous owners stamp on the front endpaper. Originally published in German, they have been translated by Derek Masters. NB. These are both quite large books, and as a set, will therefore probably incur an extra postage fee.
Volume 1 dustwrapper is in good condition, price clipped, but wrapped in plastic with minimal chips and no rubbing.
Volume 2 dustwrapper is in fair condition, not price clipped, but with multiple chips and one large, (2 inch) tear on the front bottom corner of the spine and one larger (3 inch) tear on the top back corner of the spine.

DESCRIPTION - The English edition, translated by Masters, was revised by the authors from the German original and edited by Anthony Watts. Probably the most detailed account of the war at sea in all theatres, naturally with a German focus.
