Small discolouration throughout but minimal focing except pages adjacent to frontis. Large inscription of previous owner on front endpaper. An exceptional copy for this style of binding. Published without dustwrapper.

DESCRIPTION - Vessels built in British yards, purchased, requisitioned, captured and confiscated from the enemy and controlled by the Ministry of Shipping which renamed them using the `Empire' prefix. Included cargoes, tankers, colliers, tugs etc.
