Sir,
By the Commander in Chief's command I have the honor to transmit to you the enclosed letter with its accompanying Report which has been received from Lt General The Right Hon. Sir Edward Blakeney, Comg in Ireland respecting seven troop Horses belonging to the 4th Queens own Light Dragoons at Dublin which have been inspected by Major General His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge and found unfit for further Military Service.
I am to request you will be pleased to return the enclosed, and acquaint me whether you concur in the opinion of the unfitness of these Horses on account of the causes assigned in the Report respecting them.

I am to request you will be pleased to return the enclosed, and and (sic) to state for the Commander in Chief's information, whether for the reasons therein specified you concur in the opinion of the unserviceabkeness of those Horses, and whether you recommend their being sold for the benefit of the Public.
