who died November 3rd 1899 aged 63 years.
Also her first husband William Porter
who was drowned in the year 1869.
Also her second husband William Brown
who died July 18th 1902 aged 59 years.




Sacred to the Memory of Robert Bryant
The beloved husband of Sarah Bryant,
who was drowned in Akaroa Harbour, April 17th 1871 aged 32 years




In loving memory of Eliza [nee Morgan],
wife of John Duxbury born at Donadee, Ireland,
arrived in N.Z. by the Lady Nugent Sept. 18th 1851.
Died at Robinson Bay Aug. 10th 1909, aged 59 years.
We spend our years as a tale that is told.
I have loved thee with an everlasting love,
therefore with loving kindness have I drawn thee
until the day break and the shadows flee away.

John Duxbury born at Lange Cliffe Yorkshire Aug. 5 1841.
Died Jan 5th 1929




In Loving Memory of Stanley George Harrington
Loved husband of Betsy
And much loved father of Rex and Geoff,
Died 28th March 1974, aged 69.

At the Old Anglican Cemetery up a short walkway near the Akaroa lighthouse:
In Portu Quies - "Rest in the Haven"
Daniel Watkins, M.R.C.S., L.C.A. born Westwell, Kent, England, 21 November 1791.
Died Akaroa 21 November 1882
Surgeon-superintendent S.S. Cressy, one of the famous "first four ships."
In 1850 he made his home in Akaroa being it's first doctor and
registrar of births, deaths & marriages.
His wife Julia Maria Sloane died 14 November 1851. She lies in Akaroa's French Cemetery.
A generous benefactor to the people and town of Akaroa in it's formative years -
presenting land for the first Anglican Church and the literary institute.




In Loving Memory of Arthur Henry Westenra
Died 27th January 1932, aged 87 years
And of his beloved wife Julia Westenra,
Died 25th August 1936, aged [8]2 years.
Also their beloved son Frederick Alan Westenra
who was killed at Passchendaele, France, on 16th October 1917, aged 38 years
